Safe by design
There are no strikes in Jiu Jitsu. Everything is controlled, deliberate, and supervised. Safety is a coaching priority, not a disclaimer.
Grouped by age
Ages 3 to 14, grouped by age and development, so a five year old is never learning next to a thirteen year old.
Positive coaching
Encouragement is part of the teaching system. Progress is deliberate and never rushed.
Your child is known
Coaches learn your child's name and what they need before they step on the mat.
Competition optional
Available for children who want it. Never required, never implied.
Parents welcome
A comfortable place to observe every class, with coffee.
How it works
Children's classes run Monday through Saturday, late afternoon on weekdays and late morning on Saturday.

Tell us your child's age
That is all we need to guide you to the right class. You do not need to understand our age groups beforehand.

Kids Trial Class
Every child begins with a trial class in a real group with kids their age, with a coach close by the whole time. Parents are welcome to watch.

- What age can my child start?
- Age 3. Classes are grouped by age and development through age 14.
- Is Jiu Jitsu safe for children?
- Taught well, it is one of the safest martial arts. There are no strikes. Everything is controlled, deliberate, and cooperative, with constant supervision.
- Do you offer a free trial for kids?
- Every child begins with a trial class before any commitment, so you can see exactly how we teach.
- Does my child need a uniform?
- Not for the trial class. Comfortable athletic clothing with no zippers is enough, and we provide an Elementum shirt.
- Where are you located?
